Everyone has asked an AI assistant something about aviation. The answer comes fast, well written, and with two problems. The assistant knows nothing about your operation: what the fleet is, what comes due, what the shop logged, what your manual says. And when it talks about regulations, it rarely shows where it got them.
ALIS AI was born to solve both. It lives inside Alis, consults your company's data with your permissions, and answers with the source.
What changes when the AI knows the operation
Ask "what comes due on PT-ABC this month?" and the answer comes from your aircraft's maintenance tracking: inspections, components, directives and bulletins, with hours and dates. Ask "how is SBKP?" and decoded METAR, TAF and NOTAM come back. "How much did we spend on fuel in October?" comes from finance. "What does RBAC 91 say about documents on board?" comes with section 91.203 cited and the validity notice.
It knows what is on the work order, what flew yesterday, what flies tomorrow, the hours and documents of each crew member, and the manuals and documents the company keeps in Alis. It also teaches how to use the system: "where do I log an expense?" opens the right screen.
Permission comes from the server, not from the conversation
What ALIS AI sees and does is decided by the person's roles in the company, on the server. Read-only users get answers, not actions. One company never sees another's data.
When the answer calls for an action, such as logging an expense, requesting a schedule or recording a draft flight, it shows what it will save and waits for confirmation. Nothing enters the system without the ok of whoever asked.
Where it is
On the web, with its own screen and a side panel that opens over any screen. In the app. On WhatsApp, recognizing the person by their number. And inside the aircraft, directive, work order and Flight Kit screens, with the "Ask ALIS AI" button, which takes the open record along with the question.
Via MCP, ALIS AI can also be connected to the AI tools the team already uses, with the same access as the Alis account and revocation at any time. It is enabled per company.
Always a source, and "I don't know" when that is the case
Every regulation answer carries the document, the section and the validity notice, and marks an Instrução Suplementar as guidance, not as an obligation. When the search does not find a passage that supports the answer, ALIS AI says it did not find a reliable source and shows only what it could confirm. It is less impressive in a demo and far more useful on the ramp.
A sample, without an account
Part of ALIS AI is open to anyone at alisaviation.com/ai: ANAC regulations and public aviation data, up to 10 queries a day, with no sign-up, in Portuguese. It is the way it answers, before you see the AI with your fleet.
The ALIS AI page describes what it knows about the operation, how it works and how it fits into Alis.

This article is for information purposes. ALIS AI's answers cite the company's records and the ANAC documents loaded into the collection, with a validity notice on each source, and do not replace consulting the official text or the guidance of the technical or operational manager.
