Alis was not born in a meeting room. It was born in the cockpit. I am an airline pilot — and, like every pilot who has also lived through business aviation and instruction, I spent years dealing with the same problem: the operation happened in the air, but management was stuck on the ground, in paper, spreadsheets and systems that clearly had never sat in a cockpit.
That is why I conceived Alis. Not as yet another generic management system adapted for aviation, but as the tool I myself wanted to have: an ANAC-approved logbook, maintenance tracking (CTM), SMS (SGSO), risk assessment, crew rostering, training and cost — the entire operation, in one place.
Every screen goes through a simple test: would I use this between one leg and the next? If the answer is no, it goes back to the drawing board. It is the privilege — and the responsibility — of building a product that the founder himself uses as a pilot. And it is teamwork: Alis is built alongside partners who bring the commercial operation and the AI software engineering that turn this demand into a platform.
Today Alis serves business operators, maintenance shops, CIACs and schools across Brazil — and it continues to be developed the same way it began: by people who understand that, in aviation, management is not bureaucracy. It is safety.
